Universidade Positivo - Centro Universitário Positivo, as part of its social function, communicates that it offers its students, current and prospective, the FIR-Universidade Positivo Student Financial Program, created to assist 250 students per year, with no interest. The financing is done with the university own resources and it works in the following way:
1. Financing is granted every year to 250 students that can prove financial need and whose application for the FIES program (the federal student financing program) has not been approved;
2. Universidade Positivo finances up to 50% of the monthly installment for a period equivalent to the graduation date declared at the financing agreement;
3. Financing allows students enrolled n a 4-year course to pay less than half the monthly installment for 8 years, without interest;
4. The monthly payment during the entire period in which the student is paying will be equal to the course monthly price, with adjustments equal to the adjustments made to faculty salaries (if the country's inflation rate drops to zero, neither the salaries nor monthly payments will be adjusted);
5. In order to get financing, the student must prove real financial need (upon presentation of income tax statement) and to provide surety under the same terms of the federal government regulation in granting FIES's financial aid;
6. Enrollment does not guarantee that financial aid will be granted; financial aid depends on the limitations mentioned in "1." , and on university approval.
